Monthly Garden Tips & Tricks
Follow our series of monthly tips and tricks to ensure that your garden, whatever its size, looks the best all year round.
November - Monthly Garden Tips
With the nights drawing in, the garden should continue to be
tidied up in time for winter with hedges trimmed and trees pruned. Any tender plants should be protected with
fleece and stored out of harm's way. By
putting feet under any pots left outside you will prevent waterlogging.
Leeks, cauliflowers and Brussels sprouts can be harvested
along with other root crops such as carrots, beetroot, turnips and Swedes. For those of you who wish to light a seasonal
bonfire using garden rubbish, remember to check for hedgehogs before lighting.
